What is the commitment duration?
For as long as you’d like. Your card is charged monthly and continues until you choose to adjust or cancel. Just let us know anytime.
What are these funds used for?
These funds fuel the ongoing work of New York Hebrew. While programs aim to cover themselves through fees and sponsorships, Chai Club partnerships sustain our core expenses — rent, staff, Hebrew School, teen programs, Shabbat and holiday experiences, and community outreach. We don’t charge membership — but we do have bills to pay. Your partnership provides stability and growth. New York Hebrew is funded entirely by our local community. We do not receive financial support from Chabad headquarters. Everything we do is made possible by partners like you.
Habit of Kindness
Maimonides teaches that many small, consistent gifts are even greater than one large gift — because each mitzvah matters, and repeated giving builds a habit of kindness within us.
How much should I give?
A little more than you were planning. The Rebbe encouraged us to gently stretch ourselves — while choosing an amount we can comfortably sustain. May your giving bring bracha to you and your family.
